About Intel 471

Intel 471 is the premier provider of cybercrime intelligence, empowering enterprises, government agencies, and other organizations to win the cybersecurity war using near-real-time insights into the latest malicious actors, relationships, threat patterns, and imminent attacks relevant to their businesses.

The Challenge

After a recent investment by Thomas Bravo, as well as an acquisition of a best-in-class provider of open-source intelligence named SpiderFoot, Intel 471 engaged CamelCase for a website redesign.

The first objective of the redesign was to elevate the website's overall look and feel, staying true to the current brand guidelines but exploring some unique design elements that aligned with Intel's core differentiators.

Second, the Intel team needed to fold in new capabilities, messaging, and solutions after their acquisition of SpiderFoot. This meant merging, preserving, and migrating content from both sites and into the new build. Migrating this content at scale was a key objective, with over 150 blog posts in multiple different templates.

Solution

The Intel team needed to accelerate their redesign prior to upcoming conferences and key marketing events. The team was able to move at an accelerated pace by operating in a fluid, rolling fashion. Orchestration of the milestones required great coordination across all parties.

The solution, built on Craft CMS, was designed to hand over composable content blocks for the Intel team to use. These blocks were reusable and interchangeable, allowing them to tell their own story as evolve it over time. Intel's desire for this control led us to build their CMS in a more flexible fashion, removing rigid guard rails and empowering their content creators.
