Cerby delivers the world’s first user-driven security platform for unmanageable applications. They protect brands around the world, including some of the most recognizable businesses, by automating manual processes, uncovering security issues, and empowering users to implement zero trust principles. Using robotic process automation to understand applications in a business context and automatically enforces security best practices before misconfigurations turn into breaches.

The Challenge

Cerby was having issues producing thought leadership for their blog on their previous platform. They hit a ceiling with their starter website and needed a robust CMS and design system that would fuel their growth, not limit it. Having just completed a positioning exercise as a part of raising Series A funding, they needed assistance bringing their new ideas to life.

Cerby wanted to move at lightning speed, overhauling the website on an accelerated timeline in preparation for announcing Seed funding. They had a design team in house, and wanted their resources to take ownership of the design system. CamelCase worked seamlessly with their internal team to ensure the designs were executed upon exactly as prescribed.

The Solution

Over multiple releases, the CamelCase team deployed both headless and multi-lingual capabilities as Cerby's needs evolved and changed. Originally, a headless build provided lightning quick performance, and increased security. However, as the site grew, the advantages of the implementation began to be lost due to desires for other functionality, and to avoid over-engineered solutions. When the need for multi-site arose, the CamelCase team was able to pivot quickly. This allowed a mirrored, translated Spanish version of the website to be managed uniquely, using the same fundamental building blocks as the English variant. The sites weren’t strictly coupled, allowing the Cerby team to curate and personalize which pages, assets, and content were offered to each language.
