Fero Labs, like most startups, hit a ceiling with their starter website and needed a robust CMS and design system that would fuel their growth, not limit it. Having just completed a positioning exercises as a part of Series A fundraising, they needed assistance to convert their core messaging into a new visual identity.
Fero’s previous website was creating a cumbersome workflow to publish content. The Fero team needed a flexible CMS that was sophisticated enough to create content at scale while not too complicated and over-engineered. They needed to edit copy & imagery, publish insights, and manage all website content in a secure and straightforward manner.
Additionally, the Fero team had a desire to take their website multi-lingual and needed a solution to manage multi-site content, in an intuitive way that allowed for flexibility in content publishing.
With just 8 weeks from kickoff to launch, CamelCase had to move quickly, parallelizing efforts into two distinct undertakings: replatforming to migrate the content as-is and unlock author friendly capabilities, in addition to the crafting & delivery of new front-end designs.
